Welcome to the Johnstown Elementary webpage. On behalf of the entire staff, we take great pride in welcoming you to your elementary school. It is an honor to work in such a great community and be part of a school system that values growth in every child.
Students have learned many skills through the Second Step program. Second Step focuses on skills for learning, empathy, emotion management, problem solving, and friendship skills. Consistent use of Second Step language throughout the building sets students up for academic and social success.
We had a wonderful turnout at the School Carnival and STEM Night and are so grateful to the PTO and Mary E. Babcock Foundation for providing these two special events! We are looking forward to more exciting activities as we close out the school year such as the Book Fair, Family Reading Night, 5th Grade Camp, and Field Day. On behalf of the entire staff at JES, we look forward to a successful last quarter of the school year!
