Optical Art (Op Art): Art that gives the illusion of movement or three dimensional form by the use of precise pattern, shading and contrasting color.

We found inspiration for this project by looking at the artwork of Bridget Riley (April 24, 1931- ), who is a famous Op Art artist who is still working in England.

Art 1 students learned about line, shape and shading in this Optical Illusion drawing.
