Greetings Students, Parents / Guardians, and Community Members!

My name is Sean Thompson.  I am the Middle School Innovation Teacher and Algebra I Teacher at Johnstown Middle School.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University in 2003.  With 17 years in education, this is my twelfth year, although not consecutively, as a staff member in the Johnstown-Monroe Local School District.  I yearn to be an educator who will inspire and guide my students to achieve their goals in pursuit of excellence.  Moreover, I seek to help develop respectful and responsible citizens who are prepared for success in whatever journey lies ahead.

My wife and I are blessed with two children, a son and a daughter.  I enjoy reading, exploring the outdoors, and watching or attending athletic events.  I am an avid supporter of the Miami University RedHawks and The Ohio State University Buckeyes.  During the summer, I enjoy traveling to various locations with my family.  In my spare time, I like to investigate technology and all of its applications.
