Amanda Davis joined the Johnstown-Monroe Board of Education in 2020. She served as Board Vice President from 2020-2025 and was elected Board President in 2026.

Amanda is a graduate from The Ohio State University with a degree in Social Work. Amanda has worked in child welfare since 2010 and was honored as the 2015 Child Advocate of the Year by the Public Children Services Association of Ohio. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of a nonprofit that administers a statewide program supporting former foster youth as they pursue postsecondary education and career pathways.

She and her husband Jonathan have three sons. They moved to Johnstown in 2012, and have both been very active as leaders in the local Boy Scouts. Amanda loves plants and spends many hours growing food in her garden.

Alan Benton was appointed to the Johnstown-Monroe Board of Education during the summer of 2013 and has served as board vice president.

He is President of ISO Technologies, Inc., and graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textile Chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also graduated with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Virginia and earned his MBA from Lynchburg College.

He has been a Johnstown-Monroe School District resident since 1990. Four of his children completed their K-12 education in J-M schools and he has three grandchildren who are future Johnnies. His hobbies include farming, fishing, kayaking and hiking.

Jesse Coppel joined the Johnstown-Monroe Board of Education in 2026. He previously served as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the Johnstown Planning & Zoning Commission (2020-2025) and served as President on the Board of Directors of the Johnstown Chamber of Commerce (2021-2026).

He is a graduate of New Albany High School. He earned his BBA from University of Kentucky, and Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School. He is Johnstown Title, Principal, and Safe Hands Tite, LLC, Owner and CEO.

Jesse and his wife, Andria Coppell, have three young boys in the Johnstown-Monroe School District. A life-long area resident, Jesse has lived in the City of Johnstown since 2019. He is highly involved in the local community and enjoys coaching youth soccer, playing basketball, and participating in other local civic, philanthropic, and community organizations.

Steve Frazier was elected to the Johnstown-Monroe Board of Education in November 2025 and is honored to serve the students, families, staff, and community of the district. As a parent of two sons in the district, Steve is deeply invested in helping ensure Johnstown-Monroe continues to provide outstanding educational opportunities while preparing students for the future.

 

A 1999 graduate of Piqua High School, Steve went on to attend Bowling Green State University, where he has also served in support of the university’s aviation program advisory efforts. Professionally, Steve has built a successful career in private aviation and currently works with NetJets, where he has spent years helping clients navigate complex travel needs while representing one of the most respected names in aviation.

 

Above all, Steve considers his greatest blessing to be his family. He is especially grateful for his wife, whose constant support, strength, and encouragement have been the foundation of so much of their shared success. Her dedication to their family and the example she sets each day inspire him deeply. Together, they are proud parents raising their two sons in the Johnstown community.

Robert Orsini was appointed to the Johnstown-Monroe Board of Education on Sept. 14, 2026, and sworn-in on Sept. 28, 2026.

He has been a Johnstown area resident for 20 years.
